Lesley and I picnic with my daughter Kate

Following Bruce’s fantastic 60th Birthday Party on Saturday Night in the Teign Valley where Lesley and I danced and had fun at my Muckers Big ‘SixO’  we drove up to Box Hill in Surrey to have a picnic with my daughter Kate.

We caught up with all her amazing news and photos of her 4 weeks in India with Alex (first 2 weeks) and shared with great pride her excitement and achievement as she’s now working as a teacher at The Harodian School in Barnes and absolutely loving it. She’s working very hard and is knackered…..but enjoying every minute of it.

We then went and visited Alex’s pad where they live and migrated to Chiswick for a curry with Anto and my Batchmate Bertie and his children Edward and Sarah who are now attending Uni at Kingston and the London Fashion College respectively.

Kate and Alex are clearly very happy together and it was a real joy to see them and catch up with all their news and travel stories. She’s now looking for a Puegeot 206….1.4 or 1.6 Diesel…….preferably BLUE with which to travel too and from school!!! Fingers Crossed!!
